One of the most respected and innovative guitar duos of Europe will come to St Barnabas Church on Wednesday March 24 at 7:30pm.
The Amadeus Duo, based in Germany, is Canadian Dale Kavanagh and her German partner Thomas Kirchoff. Together for nearly 20 years, they have performed nearly 900 concerts in all the major European centres and most of the great cities of the world. Immensely respected as a highly professional, they are very entertaining and deeply musical.
Amadeus’ concerts are always present a wonderful variety of music in a very dynamic way. Both Dale and Thomas are expert communicators who clearly take great joy in giving their music and the love they have for it to their audiences. Their sound is full, clear and highly nuanced. Their interpretations are evocative, honed by the years they have been together and the ease of their personal collaboration.
